You make no mention of the conditions (that is, what you are doing at the time you are experiencing poor latency) Are you recording audio tracks? If so, how are you routing them? Are you setup to do 2CH or 4CH recording. When setup properly the “Yamaha Steinberg USB driver” is a low latency ASIO driver and when you are monitoring audio properly, you will be monitoring the audio you are generating DIRECT (which is no latency, zero, none). If you only have 1 MO-X then you can only open 1 instance of the VSTi for the MO-X! Make sense? Each MOX6/MOX8 VSTi is multi-timbral (capable of 16 PARTS plus the A/D input) and represents one MO-X synthesizer. The fact that you are running several instances of VSTi’s - well that tells us nothing specifically but hints that perhaps you have several instances (4+) of the MOX6/MOX8 VSTi running - Yikes! This would be correct only if you have four plus MO-X’s connected. Let’s see if we can help them get setup properly.įirst I’m sure you are probably talking about the Yamaha Steinberg USB driver - but no one here can be sure, because the original poster did not give a version or even the correct name of the driver. This is one of those threads that will go on forever with no solution because the original poster has not given enough information about what they are doing and what they are working with.
